Jeff Hermanson

Chief Executive Officer

JEFF HERMANSON of LARIMER ASSOCIATESJeff Hermanson founded Larimer Associates in 1987. In 1993, Jeff purchased Larimer Square and with his leadership and place-making experience, the property has evolved into one of the most recognized collections of independently-owned fashion boutiques and chef-owned and operated restaurants in the state, perhaps the country, and consistently ranks as one of Denver’s top attractions.

In 2015, Jeff will continue to implement his strong vision and solidify Larimer Square’s iconic status by spearheading a dramatic revitalization of Denver’s number one historic district. Forward-thinking ideas such as revitalizing the alleyways behind Larimer Square to make them into dynamic pedestrian walkways and places of commerce with public art installations, will ensure that Larimer Square remains one of Denver’s top attractions for visitors and Denver residents.

A strong proponent of incubating skilled, local restaurant talent, Jeff has partnered with a number of Denver’s notable chefs and restauranteurs to create some of the city’s most acclaimed restaurants, including Rioja, Corridor 44 and TAG.

Jeff was a principal partner in the award-winning restoration of Denver Union Station. His experience helped shape the Union Station Alliance’s vision for the station. Jeff believes that Denver Union Station is a national and international landmark for successful redevelopment of historic transit centers.

In 2015, Jeff was inducted into The Denver & Colorado Travel Industry Hall of Fame for his long history of supporting historic preservation and re-energizing Denver’s retail, restaurant and entertainment scene.

Jeff’s philanthropic and social responsibility efforts are principally focused on hunger awareness and land conservation. He was recently named to the Board of Directors for We Don’t Waste and has been a board member and served as the President of the Crested Butte Land Trust.
